Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick said Gabriel Jesus brings different qualities to the team after the Brazilian scored in Saturday’s 3-0 La Liga victory over Getafe.
Jesus struck in the 30th minute to put Barcelona 2-0 ahead. He was standing in for fellow Brazilian Raphinha, the league’s leading scorer, who missed the match because of an injury.
“Gabriel Jesus is different from Raphinha,” Flick said.
The goal came on Jesus’ first start for Barcelona. The 29-year-old forward has now scored three goals in five appearances for the Catalan club.
