Erling Haaland has been named the most valuable forward in world football, with the Norway striker’s transfer value estimated at €220m, according to The Touchline.

The Manchester City centre-forward tops a list featuring several of the game’s leading attacking players. Haaland is valued €20m higher than Kylian Mbappe, who is second on €200m.

Mbappe, 27, represents France and plays for Real Madrid.

Argentina and Atletico forward Julian Alvarez completes the top three. His market value is listed at €110m.

Chelsea forward Joao Pedro, Paris Saint-Germain’s Ousmane Dembele, Liverpool striker Alexander Isak, Inter forward Lautaro Martinez, Liverpool’s Hugo Ekitike, Manchester United forward Benjamin Sesko and Manchester United attacker Matheus Cunha also feature in the top 10.

Dembele’s inclusion means Paris Saint-Germain have one of the leading forwards on the list, while Liverpool and Manchester United each have two representatives.

The ranking places Haaland at the summit despite Mbappe’s €200m valuation, with Alvarez the only other player listed above the €100m mark.

A separate report also claims Haaland has ruled out remaining in the Premier League and would be prepared to move only to two clubs.
