Gracia hails Sarr's 'offensive skills'
Javi Gracia claims his deadline day record signing Ismaila Sarr has "big offensive skills" and will be "very good" for Watford.
The Hornets boss had been chasing the signature of Rennes' 21-year-old Senegal international winger for most of the summer, but they couldn't agree a fee with the French Ligue 1 outfit.
However, with Thursday's deadline looming, a fee thought to be in the region of £30m was accepted as Watford smashed their previous record deal which saw Andre Gray join from Burnley for £18.5m in 2017.
He can play both sides: right, left, and as a striker sometimes. He is very strong physically, very fast and he's very good in the spaces.

Sarr scored 18 goals in 77 appearances in all competitions for Rennes and helped them win last season's Coupe de France, while he was part of the Senegal squad which reached the final of the African Cup of Nations this summer.
And Gracia is expecting his new recruit to have a big impact on his squad in the Premier League this season.
"He's a player with big offensive skills," said Gracia on the club's website. "He can play both sides: right, left, and as a striker sometimes. He is very strong physically, very fast and he's very good in the spaces.
"We saw him playing with the national team in the final of the African Cup of Nations and in all the other games. He's a young player, a good player and he will be very good for the team."
Gracia is delighted with his summer business and also praised the club's ambition for keeping their "important" players.
The Spaniard revealed that free transfer signing Danny Welbeck is unlikely to face Brighton in Saturday's Premier League opener at Vicarage Road, but fellow new arrivals Craig Dawson and Tom Dele-Bashiru could be involved.
Watford, who are 12/5 to finish in the top half of the Premier League this season, are 1/1 to win the opening game, while the Seagulls are priced at 10/3 and the draw is 12/5.
