Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has approved the appointment of a Caretaker Committee for the state owned club, Kano Pillars, Nigeriasoccernet.com has gathered.

The news was made known by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Abba Anwar via a press release on Friday.

The release made known that the constitution and the work of the committee start immediately.

The Committee has Kabiru Baita, Special Adviser to the Governor on Sports, as Chairman, with three members.

The members of the Committee are Abba Galadima, Mukhtar Ahmed and Engineer Munir Ahmad Gwarzo, Managing Director, Water Resources and Engineering Construction Authority (WRECA).

The committee will see to the following:

- oversee all the affairs of the teamto

- determine all issues related to the team

- make any recommendation(s) that is considered as appropriate for the team.

The committee will report to Office of the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Usman Bala Muhammad (mni).

Pillars who were relegated for the first time in their history is seeking to rebuild the team as they begin a new life in the Nigeria National League, NNL.
