Gombe State FA Cup: Onigbinde targets first trophy with Doma United
Doma United coach Akinade Onigbinde will look to win his first trophy for the Savannah Tigers when they file out to defend their Gombe State FA Cup against Gombe United, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.
Onigbinde after their 1-0 loss to Dakkada FC on Saturday immediately shifts his attention to today's final with the aim of winning his first title for the team.
"All our focused is shifted to the FA Cup final encounter with Gombe United. Winning the FA Cup in Wednesday final means a lot to me as that would be my first title with the club and the best way to pay back the fans and club owner for their trust in me. We have perfected everything in making sure that we come out victorious."
Doma United who defeated Gombe United 4-2 on penalties in last year's final will hope they can repeat the same feat by 4pm today at the Pantani Stadium, Gombe State when they face the same opponent.
Doma United are enjoying their first ever NPFL season and could be on the plane to Lagos for the Super Six should they have a good run of results in their next 5 games.
