Nigeria U-17 defender, Emmanuel Micheal revealed team is ready for the big quarter final tie against Burkina Faso at ongoing the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations in Algeria, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Both teams during the qualifiers, met at the WAFU B Championship final with the Golden Eaglets coming out victorious 2-1.

A lot is tied to the clash as the winner between the two teams will not just progress into the the semifinals but also secure a one of the four World Cup ticket for the continent of Africa.

“We have prepared well for this match, and we are ready for the tie. We want to give our best as a good result will qualify us for the World Cup, and this is our ambition,” the centre-back said during his interaction with the media on Wednesday.

The game will kick off at 8 pm Nigerian time.
