Godin aiming to inspire Inter
Veteran centre-back Diego Godin is determined to try and help Inter Milan end their wait for silverware, having joined the Nerazzurri from Atletico Madrid.
The 33-year-old Uruguay international has signed a three-year contract with Inter, having left the Spanish capital on a free transfer after nine seasons with Atleti, during which he helped them to La Liga, Copa del Rey and Europa League success, as well as reaching the Champions League final on two occasions.

However, Godin says he has not headed to Milan to win down his career, but instead wants to help inspire Inter towards a first trophy success since they lifted the Coppa Italia in 2011.
He told his new club's official website: "A new challenge and a new experience begin for me. Inter are a great team, a very important one, among the best in Europe.
"I really want to keep competing at high levels, doing my best on and off the field to help this great team achieve important objectives.
"I chose Inter because they have an ambitious sporting project. They want to start winning again and are a great team, both in Europe and around the world."
Inter can be backed at 5/1 to win Lo Scudetto next season, with AC Milan 16/1 and Napoli 7/1.
Meanwhile, Juventus have also added to their squad by completing the signing of France international midfielder Adrian Rabiot from Paris Saint-Germain.
The 24-year-old made just 14 Ligue 1 appearances for PSG last season and has moved on a free transfer to try his luck with the Italian champions.
