Goalkeeper Richard Kingson has predicted a bright future for Great Olympics following their 3-0 thumping of Asante Kotoko in the Independence Day Cup.

The Wonder club crashed the champions in Friday’s friendly contest played at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Both teams are currently wallowing in the relegation zone of the Ghanaian top flight.

But Kingson who is staging a return to the Ghana Premier League in a bid to revive his career believes the side will achieve greater heights especially with the young players always willing to learn.

“I was given the chance to show what I can do so I am very grateful and I thank the fans too,” he said.

“The young players in the team are ready to listen and play well for the team so I hope they continue to play like this.

“If we continue to play like this, I think we will do very well this season.”
