'GLADBACH loanee KONE's agent: "It was hard to turn AC Milan down"

Currently on a parent-club deal with Borussia Monchengladbach until June 2025, French-Ivorian midfielder Kouadio Koné (turning 20 on May 17), playing for French second-tier side Toulouse, has recently been disclosed as being pursued by AC Milan. To this end, his agent, Jonathan Mareek, told Sky Sports: "It was hard to say no to Paolo Maldini, he's a football legend. However, though picking a club wasn't easy, he knew German football was the proper step for him, right now".
