Ghedjemis attracts European interest as African transfer moves take shape

Frosinone open talks with Ghedjemis

Frosinone are negotiating an extension with Algeria international Fares Ghedjemis after interest from several European clubs.

AS Monaco and Besiktas held discussions about the right winger during the summer transfer window, as reported exclusively by Africafoot. Scottish clubs Celtic and Rangers were also interested in the player.

Frosinone are now seeking to keep Ghedjemis rather than risk losing him to one of his suitors. Journalist Ekrem Konur reports that talks over a new deal are under way.

Keita completes Esperance move

Racing Club d’Abidjan have confirmed that 19-year-old Ivorian striker Namory Keita has left the club to join Esperance Sportive de Tunis.

The announcement was made on the club’s Facebook account. Keita, who came through the Racing Club d’Abidjan academy, has signed a four-season contract with the Tunisian club that runs until 2030.

The transfer represents a significant next step for the young forward as he continues his career in Tunisia and joins one of the country’s leading clubs.

Gomez agrees January switch to Denmark

Gambian forward Francis Gomez has reached an agreement to continue his career with Danish club AC Horsens.

The 17-year-old, who plays for Sibanor United, will officially join AC Horsens in January 2028 once he turns 18. The club announced the agreement on its Instagram account.

Gomez has already represented The Gambia at Under-17 level and is expected to step up to the Under-20 squad soon for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

His pace, versatility and ability in one-on-one situations persuaded AC Horsens to complete the agreement for the young attacker.
