Ghana's 2015 AFCON hero Wakaso to be played as left-back by Scottish side Celtic
Coach Ronny Deila has suggested that Celtic winger and Ghana international Mubarak Wakaso could play at left back.
Celtic produced a stirring display against Inter Milan on Thursday night, coming from 2-0 down to earn a 3-3 draw thanks to John Guidetti's last-gasp leveller.
That sets the tie up for a barnstorming second leg at the San Siro, and whilst Inter will be heavy favourites after their three away goals, but Ronny Deila's Bhoys will be confident of scoring in Italy.
Now though, the attention turns to this weekend's game against Hamilton Academical. The two sides only met a month ago, with Celtic winning that game 2-0, but they face off again, this time in Glasgow as Celtic look to tighten their grip on top spot on the Scottish Premiership.
Manager Deila spoke to the press today ahead of that fixture, and gave an interesting quote about summer signing Mubarak Wakaso, as reported by the official Celtic Twitter account.
RD: "Wakaso is a good winger to defend for us along with Henderson and he can also play left full-back."

Wakaso, 24, has recently returned to Glasgow after playing for Ghana at the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year, and is currently on loan at Celtic from Russian side Rubin Kazan.
Despite arriving with a fairly big reputation having impressed in Spain with Espanyol and Villarreal, but has failed to make an impact at Celtic so far.
The speedy left winger has become the forgotten man at Celtic, playing just ten games in all competitions this season and scoring only once in an underwhelming loan spell.
Wakaso was a versatile player in Spain, who regularly played in the centre of midfield too, using his energy to get up and down the pitch - and now Deila has hinted that he could move to play at left back.
Celtic have little depth behind Emilio Izaguirre, and were linked with moves to sign Hamilton's Stephen Hendrie and Nigerian international Juwon Oshaniwa in January.
Yet with Wakaso working to try and earn a permanent deal with Celtic, his best chance may be to make the conversion to full back and serve as cover for Izaguirre - especially after Celtic snapped up Dundee United left winger Gary Mackay-Steven in January.

All these European teams converting our players with attacking potential into defensive midfielders, wing backs, and full backs does not augur well for their overall development. When they play for Ghana, we try to use them in their natural positions but they have not developed any further and are therefore unable to perform during crunch time when our backs are against the wall.
