TP Mazembe’s bid to reach the final of this year’s CAF Champions League moved into gear after the team arrived in Sudan almost a week ahead of the clash against Al Merrikh.

Head Coach Patrice Carteron named influential players Solomon Asante, Daniel Nii Adjei, Yaw Frimpong and Richard Kissi Boateng all in the contingent which arrived in Sudan this morning.

Mazembe topped Group A of the CAF Champions League pairing with 11 points while Al Merrikh came second in Group B with 13 points.

The First Leg of the semi-final clash will come off on the 26th of September in Sudan before a reverse encounter in Lubumbashi on the 4th of October.
