Ghanaian midfielder Seidu Salifu says he is desperate to help Club African end their long wait in winning the Tunisian League.

The Red and Whites are expected to be crowned Ligue 1 champions on Tuesday when they play their final league match away to Zarzis.

A defeat could still see Club Africain win the league title depending on the results in the other Tuesday game between Etoile du Sahel and Djerba.

Salifu who featured prominently for Club Africain this season following a difficult start to his career in Tunisia says the side is determined to get the job done in Zarzis on Tuesday.

“This match we are going there to play and win,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“This title is important to us and the fans because we have never won this title since 2008 so it is very important to win this league.”
