Ghanaian midfielder Albert Bruce was delighted with his debut performance for Nexxar Lions in their 0-0 stalemate against Sliema Wanderers in the Maltese league over the weekend.

The 21-year-old played full throttle for his new side as they picked an important away win at the Victor Tedesco Stadium.

The former Kotoko midfielder again impressed at the heart of the game and says he was happy with his performance.

“It was a good debut for me and I’m happy with my performance,” he said

“I trained with the team only once and was given the chance to play 90 minutes which is good for me.

“I hope to repay the confidence reposed in me in subsequent matches.”

Bruce joined Lions last week after terminating his contract with Qormi United.
