Ghana U23 coach Malik Jabir facing sack - reports
Ghana Under-23 coach Malik Jabir is set to be sacked after his side crashed out of the Olympic Games qualifier, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.
The veteran trainer failed to supervise the side's progress in the qualifying campaign after the Black Meteors lost 5-4 on penalties to Congo Brazzaville on Sunday.
The Ghanaians lost 1-0 in the reverse fixture which ensured the game was decided on the lottery.
The former Asante Kotoko coach is now facing the sack amid growing reports the Ghana FA intend ringing massive changes following another failed attempt.
Ghana have not qualified for the Olympic Games since Italian Mariano Barreto guided the side to the 2004 Games in Athens.
The future of Jabir appears increasingly in peril, with some executive members of the federation pushing for his dismissal.
