Ghana U20 management committee chairman Winfred Osei admits it will be difficult to have all the foreign-based players join the home-based camping session of the team ahead of the World Cup.

The Black Satellites opened camp at the Ghanaman Soccer School of Excellence in Prampram on Tuesday.

All the home-based players have reported to camp as the players look to impress coach Sellas Tetteh into making the cut into his final squad for the World Cup to be staged in New Zealand.

The 13 foreign-based players called up to come and justify their position are however yet to report to camp.

The Black Satellites’ management committee chairman Winfred Osei concedes having all of the invited foreign-based players in camp for the commencement of camping will be a near impossibility.

”We asked the foreign players to join the squad to give the coach the full scope to be able to select his final team,” he said.

“But no matter what the case be, there is no way that you can get all your players in the camp because of the FIFA rue.

“The players are in competition at their clubs so we will have to make do with what we will get.”

Ghana is preparing to make another onslaught on the World U20 stage where they have been drawn in Group B against Argentina, Austria and Panama.
