Ghana U20 team left Accra on Friday night for a pre-2015 African Youth Championship camping in Antalya, Turkey.

Head coach Sellas Tetteh named three foreign-based players in his 24-man squad for the two-week pre-tournament camping.

The 2009 Africa and FIFA U20 World Cup winner must cut is squad to 21 for the final tournament which will be played from the 8-22 of March in Senegal.

Diminutive midfielder Clifford Aboagye, who won bronze ball at the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup, headlines Ghana’s U20 foreign legion.

The Granada second team star man will join the squad on Monday alongside Berekum Chelsea goalkeeper Michael Sai.

Also in there is highly rated Italy-based Evans Osei who signed for Serie B side Bologna during the January and Espanyol’s Paul Quaye.

Some interesting Ghana Premier League players in the team are Asiedu Attobrah (New Edubiase) and Emmanuel Antwi (Liberty Professionals)

Ghana are housed in Group B alongside Mali, Zambia and South Africa.

    No flights in Turkey due to snow. most airports are close down, moreover the weather is not conducive for a training tour
