Ghana U20 coach Sellas Tetteh expected back from Man City on Thursday night
Ghana U20 coach Sellas Tetteh is expected back in Accra on Thursday evening after spending weeks on attachment at Manchester City.
The Black Satellites trainer’s trip to the English giants forms part of the partnership agreement between Man City and the Ghana FA.
Tetteh is said to have made the trip in a move to enhance his capacity on how to adequately prepare his team for the FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand.
The 58-year-old was exposed to superior training and camping facilities and was also taking through other facets of the game including the diet and psychology preparation for players.
Tetteh had several interactions with the coaches of Man City including Manuel Pellegrini.
He is expected back on Thursday evening to preside over his team’s residential camping which is currently underway at the Ghanaman Soccer School of Excellence in Prampram.
Sellas Tetteh will be leading the Black Satellites to yet another FIFA U20 World Cup finals after guiding the side to win bronze at the 2015 African Youth Championships staged in Senegal.
