Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris is reportedly not interested in a move to Lorient due to the synthetic grass at their home stadium.

The 23-year-old is wanted by Lorient to replace compatriot Jordan Ayew who has since been sold to Aston Villa.

Waris is desperate to secure a new club following his immense dip of form since joining Turkish club Trabzonspor.

Two French clubs; Rennes and Lorient are said to be interested in signing the former BK Hacken man.

But Waris is reportedly tilting towards a move to Rennes instead of Lorient because of their synthetic surface at the Stade du Moustoir, according to L’Equipe.
