Ghana striker Dominic Adiyiah has squashed reports claiming he has signed for Thai Premier League Nakhon Ratchasima.

The 2009 FIFA U20 World Cup top scorer and MVP is reported to have turned to Asia after failing to secure a deal in Europe.

But GHANASoccernet.com can confirm Adiyiah is locked in negotiations with a club in Belgium after failing to reach an agreement with Swedish side Halmstads.

“Adiyiah has not spoken to a club in Thailand and will not be going there. He wants to play in Europe and not interested in playing in Asia for now,” a confidante told GHANASoccernet.com

“I can confirm to you that he is talking to a club in Belgium.”

Adiyiah has failed to meet expectations since making a high-profile move to Serie A giants AC Milan.

His career has seen him featured for clubs in Serbia, Turkish and Kazakhstan.
