Ghana star Andre Ayew voted Olympique Marseille Player of the Month

Ghana midfielder Andre Ayew has been named Olympique Marseille’s Player of the Month for February.

The 25-year-old returned from a disappointing Africa Cup of Nations Cup to scores two goals in three matches.

Ayew polled 52% of the votes as he competed with goalkeeper Steve Mandanda (15%) and Jérémy Morel (11%).

Five days after missing out on winning the AFCON, he scored a superb header in the 2-2 draw with Stade Reims.

Last Friday, he was on target again as Marseille threw away a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 at home to Caen.
