Ghana midfielder Bernard Mensah has revealed he met up with former Barcelona star Deco before leaving Vitoria Guimaraes.

The 20-year-old is now with Getafe on a one-year loan deal after completing a substantive move to Atletico Madrid this summer.

Mensah said his final goodbye to Vitoria Guimaraes as he moved to Spain but not without a brief meeting with former Chelsea and Barcelona star Deco.

The Ghana international posted a picture of himself with the former Portugal midfielder on Instagram captioned: “With the magic 20 [Deco] was great to meet you last day before leaving Guimaraes.”

Mensah made his Ghana debut back in June after a breakaway season at Vitoria Guimaraes last term.
