Ghana midfielder Anthony Annan is line to start his first game for 1860 Munich in Sunday’s game at Darmstadt 98.

The Ghanaian international was a second half substitute for the new side as they lost 2-1 at home to Heidenheim Monday.

The 28-year-old will be most likely drafted to the defensive midfield due to the absence of Ilie Sanchez.

Manager von Ahlen will call-up the pocket-size midfielder for the more defensive role ahead of the must win game at the Merck-Stadion am Böllenfalltor stadium.

Annan joined the German Bundesliga II outfit after leaving Finnish champions HJK Helsinki.
