Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah is expected back in Italy on Tuesday to begin his career at Torino.

The 23-year-old boarded a flight from Dubai – where he has been holidaying with his wife Amanda and international playmate Richmond Boakye Yiadom – to Italy where he will begin training with his new club Torino.

The former Hoffenheim midfielder completed a four-year move to Torino having excelled on loan at Sampdoria in the second half of the Serie-A season.

Acquah was however unable to join his new club early due to his expired work permit.

The well-rested Acquah now traveled back to Italy to earn his wages proper by joining the pre-season preparations of Torino.
