Clubs in the Premier League have been instructed to wear black armbands and observe a minute of silence on Sunday when the second half of the season starts to remember the over 200 people who died in Wednesday's floods and gas station explosion in Accra. 

The country recorded one of its worst disaster when continuous rains last week led to a lot of people displaced and deaths recorded as result of the floods and explosion.

Seven matches will be played when the league returns with the Hearts of Oak vrs AshantiGold clash postponed to 10 June due to the former's involvement in the CAF Confederation Cup.
