Ghana FA to hold seminar on media operations in Ghana football
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) will organize a one-day workshop in Accra on Tuesday May 5, 2015 to review media and publicity operations of the various competitions organised by the federation.
The President of the GFA Kwesi Nyantakyi will open the event which will be chaired by the chairman of the Media Committee of the GFA Mr Cudjoe Fianoo.
Respective media officers of the clubs, Venue Media Officers for all the league centers, as well as other key stakeholders will attend the workshop to examine the the modern methods of communications for football matches.
FIFA's General Coordinator Anthony Baffoe will deliver a lecture on the matchday operations for the media to help participants to understand the needs for journalists reporting on matches.
GFA Director of Communications Ibrahim Sannie Daara will lead a discussion on further improving on publicity of the First Capital Plus Premier League, the MTN FA Cup, the GN Division One League and the Elite Cup competitions.
There will also be the opportunity to examine the role of social media, television and radio on publicising the matches of the local game.
The workshop will also involve media officers or representatives of all the First Capital Plus Premier League clubs and GN Bank Division One Clubs.
The Workshop is scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m.
