The Ghana Football Association has confirmed pre-Africa Cup of Nations friendlies against European sides Olhanense and Freiburg.

The warm-up game against Olhanense, a Portuguese second-tier side, will be played on Wednesday at the Algarve Stadium in Portugal on Wednesday.

The Black Stars will travel just across the border to face Olhanense, hours before coach Avram Grant names his final 23-man squad for the competition.

German Bundesliga side Freiburg will also get to test Ghana’s squad before they depart to Equatorial Guinea.

The game has been tentatively fixed for 14 January at the Estadio Olímpico de Sevilla.

Earlier on Tuesday, UEFA and FIFA licensed match agent Evelien Veerman claimed she had secured a friendly between Ghana and Dutch top-flight side Cambuur but the FA is yet to confirm.
