Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila performs "minor pilgrimage'' Umrah in Saudi Arabia ahead of Asian Champions League qualifier

Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila took opportunity of his Kuwati side’s visit to Saudi Arabia for a Champions League tie to perform 'minor pilgrimage' Umrah.
The centre-back and his Al Qadsia side are in Buraydah to play Ah Ahli in the Asian Champions League third qualifying round.
Umrah is not compulsory but highly recommended for muslims and Sumaila, a devout muslim, has performed the rituals to strengthen his faith.
