Head Coach of the Black Stars Avram Grant, watched from the stands as the Black Satellites showed mental toughness to beat Zambia 2-1.

The 59 year old who arrived in Senegal on Thursday morning was at the Caroline Faye stadium to witness Aseidu Attobrah and Samuel Afful score to cancel out a Dave Dake early strike.

Grant is expected to play an advisory role to Satellites coach Sellas Tetteh who has a target of winning Ghana’s fourth Africa Youth Championship competition.

Grant will also cease the opportunity monitor some budding talents at close hand with an aim for future national team call up.

The former Chelsea and West Ham United coach also knows his presence will also ginger up the boys to give their best in order to go the long haul.

Ghana's 2-1 win over Zambia shoot them into the semi-final stage of the competition and also booked their place in this years FIFA Under 20 world cup.
