Ghanaian giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko have all but confirmed the sacking of under-fire coach Mas-Ud Dramani's after the club's board asked him to proceed on leave with an official statement.

This comes after Ghana's leading football news website www.ghanasoccernet.com revealed that the board has taken the decision to sack the talented coach after recent difficult results.

"The Board of Directors of Kumasi Asante Kotoko have asked Head Coach, Mas-ud Didi Dramani to proceed on leave," a statement on the club's website read.

"This effectively brings his tenure at the club to an end after almost three seasons."

In a letter dated February 16, 2015 and signed by Board Secretary, Ishmael Boachie, the Board directed Didi Dramani to "take his accumulated leave with effect from Frebruary 17, 2015."

The Kotoko coach has come under fire in the last one week over the unimpressive performance of the Porcupines who have 8 points after seven match days in the First Capital Plus Premier League.

Didi, in 2012/13 season, his first season at Kotoko won the Premier League title and repeated it last season.

He won the MTN FA Cup last season.

The future of the former Ghana U17 girls team coach was speculated after his side's poor run of form in the Ghana Premier League.

Kotoko have amassed eight points from a possible and have slipped into the bottom half of the Ghana Premier League.

Dramani's three season spell would be fondly remembered after leading the club to their first ever league and cup double last season.
