Ghana Africa Cup of Nations star Daniel Amartey visited the community he grew up in at Teshie in Accra after returning from the tournament in Equatorial Guinea.

The former Inter Allies FC captain paid homage to his first youth team Zinaps FC at the Teshie Camp 2 park as he took time to visit his roots.

He was received happily by his former coaches as the two-time fair play award winner at AFCON2015  donated undisclosed items to his former team.

Amartey joined Inter Allies Inter Allies from Zinaps FC (Colts side) before moving to Swedish side Djurgardens IF and now plays for FC Copenhagen.

The versatile player has returned to his Danish club with blessings from his roots as he prepares to finish the season on a high.
