German giants Dortmund eye Kevin Boateng swoop

GHANAsoccernet.com understands Dortmund are preparing a swoop for dismissed Schalke midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng.

The 28-year-old has been told to look for a new club after he was released by the German side on Monday.

Dortmund have jumped to the fray to re-sign the suspended Ghanaian international and give him a lifeline.

Boateng played for Dortmund in 2011 on loan from English side Tottenham Hotspur.

He has been linked with a move to the American Major League side with New York Red Bulls believed to be interested.
