Nigeria striker, George Ilenikhena has joined AS Monaco from Belgium side Royal Antwerp after completing his medicals, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano announced a day ago that an agreement had been reached between Monaco and Ilenikhena and he was expected complete the move after medicals.

On Thursday, the French Ligue 1 side announced that the 17-year-old who scored 14 goals in 50 games for Antwerp has joined them and has reportedly signed a five-year deal with the Ligue 1 side.

According to reports, the fee for the Nigeria born player is €18m plus €2m add-ons.

Ilenikhena who was born in Lagos, but left at age 3 moved to France where had previously played for Amiens in Ligue 2 before leaving for Belgium.
