Brilliantly capable of achieving their Serie A status keep, since Davide Ballardini took over first-team management position, Genoa are now working on two market fronts: one regarding 36-year old Swiss midfield all-rounder Valon Behrami, who, according to latest TMW rumours, is going to have his ongoing deal with the club extended a season longer, beyond current June 2021 deadline; the other concerning 28-year old right-back Stefano Sabelli. Coming from a rich and much traveling career, made of tenures all around Europe, notably for Lugano, Hellas Verona, Lazio, West Ham, Fiorentina, Napoli, Hamburg, Watford, Udinese, and FC Sion, the 1985-born had joined Il Grifone almost a year and a half ago first, though having played for Genoa back in 2003/04, throughout a second-tier season, already.
