Gattuso: I take responsibility for AC Milan’s struggles
After AC Milan’s winless run in Serie A stretched to four games on Wednesday afternoon with a scoreless draw against Frosinone, Gennaro Gattuso insisted that he will take full responsibility for their form.
It was yet another lethargic display from the Diavolo and not only have they gone four games without a win, they have also failed to score during that time, drawing 0-0 with Torino, Bologna and the Canarini as well as losing to Fiorentina.
Gattuso doesn’t believe there was any improvements following the loss to the Viola and in fact believes his side were worse, although acknowledged that it is he who must find a way to turn things around.

“I don’t think that we took a step forward in this game. In the first half, we played a very bad game and we were better against Fiorentina because in this one, we gave Frosinone a much too easy time of it,” he told DAZN.
“We did well not to lose the game because that could have happened and must take more responsibility if we are to get into the Champions League because these things can’t happen.
“My concern is for my team. I’m being judged for these results and they have not been satisfactory recently. I will face up to it as I’m the captain of this ship and I take responsibility for it.
“I will always demand the most from my players. There is no sense of calm. I have to think about improving things and anything can happen.”
On Saturday, Milan will have a chance to get back to winning ways when they welcome SPAL to the San Siro.
