Gary Lineker attacks Jim Ratcliffe as Manchester United struggle continues

Gary Lineker has criticised Manchester United co-owner Jim Ratcliffe while discussing the crisis within the club’s structure.

The former England and Barcelona striker said the Glazer family had “found someone even worse than themselves”, adding: “Congratulations to them.”

Ratcliffe became involved in the running of Manchester United at the beginning of 2024. Lineker’s comments were directed at the current co-owner as the club continues to face difficulties on and off the pitch.

Manchester United are 12th in the Premier League table, with five points from their opening five matches.
