Full Squad: Ghana to face Nigeria without Partey and Iniaki William
Black stars head coach, Otto Addo has revealed a 26-man squad for the upcoming international friendly matches against the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports:
The game, scheduled for Marrakech, Morocco during the international break, promise an exciting clash of talent due to the history of rivalry between the two West African giants.
Featuring a blend of seasoned campaigners and promising newcomers, the squad sees five players earning their debut call-ups.
Standouts include David Akologo from Bolivia, Ibrahim Osman from Nordsjaelland, Nathaniel Adjei from France, Diomande Mohammed from Rangers of Scotland, and Frederick Asare from Asante Kotoko.
Notable returns to the squad include Tariq Lamptey from Brighton and Hove Albion, who has recuperated from injury, along with Patrick Kpozo, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, and Edmund Addo.
Captain Andre Ayew leads a cohort of experienced players including Jordan Ayew, Mohammed Kudus, Osman Bukari, Samed Abdul Samed, and Elisha Owusu.
Meanwhile Arsenal midfielder, Thomas Partey and Athletic club forward, Inaki Williams wi be missing for the Black Stars due injury:
Ghana is primed to take on Nigeria on Friday, March 22, followed by a clash against Uganda four days later.
