Premier League outfit Fulham FC is in discussions with Ajax Amsterdam regarding the potential return of former Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Akpom, who made the move to the Dutch Eredivisie last summer after an impressive season with Middlesbrough in the English Championship, is reportedly discontent with his playing time at Ajax and is eager for a change of clubs this summer, with Fulham emerging as a viable option.

The talented attacker's contract with Ajax is set to expire in 2028, raising questions about whether he will see out the remainder of his deal.

Akpom being Nigerian-eligible striker could possibly be playing with Super Eagles stars, Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey next seaon.

In addition to Fulham, other clubs expressing interest in Akpom's services include Nottingham Forest, LOSC Lille, and RC Lens.
