The Nigeria Flying Eagles got a skin win over Congo Brazzaville as they continued preparations ahead of their participation at the U-20 African Cup of Nations tournament to hold in Egypt, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Junior Eagles rallied back from a goal down to beat their Congolese opponents by two goals to one at the Complexe Sportif, Sidi Mohammed, Ain Sebaa Casablanca on Sunday.

Despite keeping some players on the bench, it was still the Nigerian Boys who ran the show dominating proceedings as they pushed to score.

But it was the Congolese side who got the opener with their first shot at goal in the 21st minute of the game leaving the Nigerian team to chase for the equaliser.

Halliru Sarki and Samson Lawal could have levelled score but the Nigerian team continued to rue missed chances as the first half ended 1-0 in favour of Congo Brazzaville.

Coach Ladan effected some changes as the second half begun which gave the team the desired result as Emmanuel Uchegbu finally put the two sides at equilibrium in the 66th minute.

Goal poacher, Lekan Adams who was brought on scored through an header from an Augustine Njoku's cross in the 70th minute to give Nigeria the lead.

It ended with the Flying Eagles holding on to the 2-1 lead as they continue to be good shape for the tournament in Egypt.
