Frenkie de Jong reaches 300 appearances for Barcelona

Frenkie de Jong made his 300th appearance for Barcelona in the match against Aston Villa, marking a significant milestone in his time at the club.

The achievement was commemorated with a special match shirt bearing “F. de Jong 300” on the back. After the game, the Netherlands midfielder posed for a photograph with his Barcelona team-mates while wearing the shirt.

De Jong joined Barcelona in 2019 after previously spending time with Ajax in Amsterdam. He has since become one of the senior figures in the current Barcelona squad.

The midfielder is also the Dutch player with the most appearances for Barcelona, holding the club record among footballers from the Netherlands.
