Super Eagles forward, Moses Simon made his return to club action on Sunday night in FC Nantes 2-0 loss against Ligue 1 table toppers PSG following a second placed finish with Nigeria at the just concluded 2023 AFCON in Abidjan, Nigeriasoccernet.com writes.

Les Canaris thought their efforts had paid off with a goal in first half stoppage time, but a VAR review ruled it offside. FC Nantes dominated the first half, recording six shots in total in the first 45 minutes, while PSG only managed three.

Simon started the match from the bench and was introduced in the 74th minute, replacing Mostafa Mohamed when PSG were still leading with a goal, Mbappe then later converted his spot kick in the 78th minute to condemn them to a loss at the Stade de la Beaujoire ground.

Moses Simon and Nantes will be looking for a comeback victory as they face FC Lorient at the Stade du Moustoir-Yves Allainmat in an away game.
