Fraser hits back at critics
Ryan Fraser has hit out at Scotland's critics and he insists the team are moving "in the right direction" under boss Alex McLeish.
The 25-year-old Bournemouth winger spoke out after being a part of the side which was booed off the pitch at full-time of Sunday's 2-0 Euro 2020 qualification Group I win away at San Marino.
The unconvincing victory against the team at the bottom of the world rankings, courtesy of goals from Kenny McLean and Johnny Russell, came on the back of Thursday's dismal 3-0 defeat in Kazakhstan.
McLeish was also subjected to booing from the travelling fans during the San Marino game, resulting in speculation over his future.
You can't just write off the campaign because you've lost one game. We're heading in the right direction.

However, Fraser firmly believes that they improving under the 60-year-old and claimed they should have won 5-0 on Sunday had they taken their chances.
Scotland face Cyprus on home soil in their next qualifier on 8th June and then travel to Belgium three days later, before hosting Russia in September.
And, despite the difficult games to come, Fraser still believes that they can qualify for their first major tournament since the 1998 World Cup.
"Of course we still have a chance to qualify," he said. "You can't just write off the campaign because you've lost one game. We're heading in the right direction.
"It's not nice. You never want to be booed as a player, you've got to have a thick skin. If you're going to play badly and moan about it, you shouldn't be a footballer. We played our own game and didn't listen to the noise."
Scotland are 33/1 to win Group I, while they are 5/1 to finish in the top-two of the group to book their place at next summer's finals.
