Fouad Halil is targeting a gradual move into Strasbourg’s first team after recently being promoted to the club’s B team.

The young Algerian midfielder’s ambitions were outlined by his agent in an exclusive interview with Maghreb-Foot, in which he also highlighted the player’s qualities.

Halil’s immediate objective is to continue developing step by step and earn playing time with Strasbourg’s senior side. His representatives are keen to avoid rushing his progress, instead favouring a pathway suited to his age and current stage of development.

The midfielder also hopes eventually to move closer to the Algeria national team. Before that can happen, however, he must establish himself at Strasbourg and deliver on the expectations surrounding him.

Strasbourg are due to face OGC Nice in their sixth match of the French championship. Betting company 1xbet lists Strasbourg at 2.85 to win, with a draw priced at 3.40 and an OGC Nice victory at 2.20.
