Former Sunshine Stars midfielder Okiki Afolabi will now play his professional football in the Syrian League with Al-Ittihad SC Aleppo.

After a short stint in Argentina, Afolabi has spent most of his career playing in the Ethiopian Premier League.

He played for Fasil Kenema last season having played for Jimma Abba Jiffa, and Mikkel Enderta 70 in the past.

He decided to join Al-Ittihad SC Aleppo in the Syrian Premier League.

The club which was founded in 1949 play their home game at the Aleppo International Stadium but has already completed its ground with a 10,000 capacity.
