Victor Ibarbo has joined Italian club San Cataldo, moving to a new region and dropping a division as he continues his career in the country.
The Colombia international has left Tuscany for Basilicata after signing for San Cataldo, who compete in Italy’s fifth tier. The move follows his recent spell in Serie D with Pontedera.
Ibarbo, formerly of Cagliari and Roma, has now represented four Italian clubs. He began his Italian career with Cagliari before moving to Roma, and most recently played for Pontedera.
The 35-year-old has also played elsewhere in Europe, featuring for English club Watford and Greek side Panathinaikos.
