Former Akwa United striker has successfully completed his move to Scottish Premier League side Motherwell FC, Nigeriasoccernet.com can confirm.

The Scottish Premiership club on their website announced the acquisition of Ebiye, 26 from Norwegian club, Aalesund till 2025 on a free transfer.

“This has been a long and arduous process,” manager Stuart Kettlewell said.

“A lot of people behind the scenes at the club have had to work very hard but we’re very excited to see what Moses can do in his time at the club.

“His goal scoring record in Norway is very impressive and we feel that is something that will benefit us as we go into the remainder of the season.”

“I am very happy to have joined the club,” Moses Ebiye added.

“It has been good training and getting to know the team. I hope I can make an impact in my time here.”

The vastly experienced striker who will wear the number 24 jersey had left Nigeria for Norway joining Lillestrøm where he scored 3 goals before moving to HamKam scoring four goals and assisting five occasions in 20 appearances before moving to Tromsø in 2021.

At Tromso he scored 12 goals and assisted nine times in 43 games before moving to Aalesund in 2022 where he score 19 times.
