Nigeria U20 striker Osinachi Ebere will travel to France next month with a view to sealing a deal with French club Nantes.

The 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup winner spent over a month in France training with the French Ligue 1 club and will return to France in July to confirm if he will be offered a contract.

"Osinachi will travel to France next month for final assessment with Nantes," a source close to the player informed.

"He did well when he was there, but we will know for sure next month when he travels to France," the source added.

Ebere will join the list of players from the last U17s who have signed for clubs abroad if his deal went through.
