Flying Eagles Defender On Trials At Portuguese Second Division

Portuguese second division club Desportivo Aves have invited Flying Eagles right back John Lazarus for trials.

The club are based in the city of Vila das Aves.

Last season, another Nigerian defender Emmanuel Ibok Edet featured for them.

The 18-year-old Lazarus was a member of the Golden Eaglets squad who clinched the FIFA U17 World Cup in Chile.

He played in all seven matches and was not booked.

He is stocky fullback who loves to join the attack.

The Abuja-born ace has also featured for the Nigeria U15s.
