Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has praised Lazio’s coach, Marco Baroni, for his role in his recent improvement on the field, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Lazio delivered a dominant 5-1 victory over Monza on Sunday, with Dele-Bashiru scoring one of the goals.

“It’s something I enjoyed. The coach and the team have helped me a lot, and I’ve improved both physically and tactically,” he said.

“It’s been a perfect week for me, and while I’m happy with my performance, the team’s victory is even more important.”

“There’s a great group here, and it’s the ideal environment. The coach believes in everyone,” Dele-Bashiru added.

He came off the bench to score his 5th goal of the season, his 3rd goal in eight starts as Lazio crushed Monza.
