Champions Asante Kotoko could only hold up for a drawn game against WAFA in their first game without coach Mas-Ud Dramani. Assistant Coach Micheal Osei was taking charge of his first game as an interim head coach and could only pick up a point against minors WAFA. The Ghanaian champions looked out of spring and failed to create chances in what was another disappointing outing for the red army. This result will mount pressure on management who are on a hunt to replacement Mas-ud Dramani.
